SEASON REPORT 2025/26

Fife Steel 2025/26 Season

This season we again fielded 4 competitive squads - our Men competed in Lothian League Division 2 and Tayside & Fife League. The Under 18s and U16s both competed in their respective Lothain League divisions with a new Under 16 "B" team also having a go in the North East Regional Basketball League.

Best perfomaning squad this season was teh Under 16 Lothian League team - taking a 4th place finish and showing a major improvemtn over last seasons campaign..

The under 18s didn't fair so well this season. It was a hard taks to begin with considering  the loss of a number of last seasons division winning sqaud. Still finishing as one of the stronger teams in the bottom section of the split league, the U18s will be bolster by improved Under 16 players joining them next seaons.

The men had an up and down season, begining with a close win in the opening game of the seasons things took a dive as they lost a number of games in a row before abouncing back and settling in to an effective W>L>W routine. The team finished 8th in Lothian League Division 2 and 4th in the Tayside & Fife League.
